Lisa Roberts, has been selling residential real estate for seven years and is among the top 75 of more than 57,000 licensed agents in Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business and psychology. Just one year into her real estate career, Roberts closed more than 85 transactions and had $4.8 million in sales. Since then, the New York native, who has lived in Scottsdale for 17 years, has doubled her volume sold each year. To date, she’s closed more than 300 transactions and had upward of $200 million in sales, specializing in luxury homes in the Scottsdale zip codes of 85259 and 85260.
“I live and breathe real estate and do whatever it takes to represent my clients,” says Roberts, who is also a tour director of the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors’ (SAAR) Scottsdale Luxury Home Tour. “To represent my clients in the most important financial transaction they will ever make is something I do not take lightly.”
And the proof is evident. In 2015, Lisa received national recognition by REALTOR® Magazine as 30 Under 30 and has been named 40 Under 40 in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 by the Southeast Valley Association of Realtors’ and SAAR. In 2016, Roberts was a recipient of the prestigious Re/Max Hall of Fame award and inducted into the Re/Max Chairman’s Club. She is also a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, named one of top 35 realtors in the Phoenix Business Journal in 2016, and named one of the top 16 women in Arizona for units sold in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Even with these honors, at the core of who she is, Roberts is humble and kind-hearted, believing there is more to life than prestige. The mom of two volunteers at Vista de Camino Food Bank; serves as a Christmas Angel for children, families and seniors during the holidays; and gives to Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. It’s this mindset that is integral to her work – and to her success.
“If you work hard and follow the rules, and are honest and caring, your goals can be achieved no matter what your circumstances,” Roberts says. “I am involved in the integrity of the real estate business daily. I uphold my values and value my integrity during every transaction I enter into.”
Seeing these attributes come to fruition with each sale or purchase brings Roberts a sense of joy and accomplishment, often in the simplest of ways.
“I see my job as helping others with what may be the biggest investment of their life,” Roberts says. “To me, a big hug and a thank you is what makes my job rewarding.”
